About Us
Neil Evely
Founder / Innovation Director
An innovation-led and technically curious creative with 20+ years’ experience working across VFX, Advertising, Immersive Tech and Emerging Platforms. Post Film School, his career began at The Mill, where a love of ambitious production evolved into a passion for the technical side of creativity.
Since then, he’s built teams, pipelines and innovation functions at Ogilvy, BBH (London & Singapore), Magnopus, SUPERBRIGHT and HELO - helping ambitious ideas become scalable, deliverable and award winning work.
That curiosity led him to found Good Boy: a micro-studio that is dedicated to cutting through the noise and helping clients navigate the topsy-turvy world of trying to create something that hasn’t been done before.
Lois Shafier
Studio Assistant
Lois and Neil first crossed paths at M&C Saatchi in April 2025, where they were both drafted in to keep the Creative team from spontaneously combusting. Somewhere amongst the mild chaos, Neil clocked Lois’ impressive organisational skills and casually asked if she’d ever considered becoming a Virtual Assistant.
That little question planted a very big seed, and after 6 months, HeyLo was born. (Spoiler: Neil wasn’t just making conversation - it was all part of his grand plan to level up Good Boy Studio).
These days, Lois does a bit of everything: running the company LinkedIn page, proofreading copy, organising workshops, and - perhaps most importantly - making sure Neil’s brilliant ideas actually make it out of his head and into the real world.
Rocky
Chief of Walks
Rocky (the four-year-old Boston Terrier) Good Boy's Chief of Walks. As well as being the inspiration behind the company name and logo, his responsibilities as Non-Executive Marketing Director include overseeing office security, morale and all radiator-based operations.
Rarely found alone, he thrives on constant human contact and strategic naps in warm spots. He dislikes rain, baths and unnecessary movement.
Motivated almost entirely by cheese, Rocky would - without hesitation - run through a brick wall for it.
An indispensable member of the team.
